Turning Interest Into Action

Our Executive Board consists of a chairperson, secretary and trustees. Our members are made up of parents with children who attend or who have once attended playgroup, others have careers or a working knowledge of childcare and working in the early years sector. They all have one ambition, that Community Playgroups will continue its success offering quality early years care to the children of West Lothian.

The board meets around every 6 weeks to discuss policies, procedures and the financial position of the organisation to ensure all of our Playgroups are run efficiently and comply with all regulations. Each meeting lasts only 60-90 minutes and due to Covid19, meetings are currently being held virtually.
​
We would love to have more parents on board as your point of view is very valuable to us.
